be still ::: in progress
Tue, January 26, 2010 at 0:37 here's a portion of a large painting i began working on today. i love narrative painting, but, man, it takes TIME. so, i'm constantly talking to myself about patience and the benefit of all the story layers in the end.
i just can't get over how the act of painting can teach me so much about everyday life. i'm listening, God.

Oh I cannot wait to see the whole wonderful piece!!!!
oh, girl! this is your story? i've sat here for over ten minutes in awe, and wondering how the painting would translate into words. i'd love to curl up with a cup of tea and hear you tell it.
Mystele, Brenda sent me to your site. I found hers this week. I must say you gals have talent! Love how you can see things and put it to art. It's kind of like a vision. I see visions or dreams and put them to words - you put them to paper or canvas or whatever works. We are both artist. I wish I could express my self on medium but I'm not gifted that way. People are very visually oriented these days, so your gift is very valuable and needed for such a time as this. Your light shines into the dark souls of men to give light. It takes courages to express yourself in any form. You are a courageous woman! Thanks for inspiring me today.
I love that you are a work in progress! Keep growing closer to Jesus ~Patrina <")>><
Keep going!
You're on to something here...
Excellent piece!! This is my favorite. All your paintings are beautiful but these two are amazingly beautiful!! the composition the colors are in love with each other the stlye the playfulness, the rich and boldness between color and shape. What else can I say - it's fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
It is worth the story layer of the process - keep going!
