every day my heart is searching, seeking, panting, longing.

trying desperately to Live.

really Live.

that deep, full, overflowing Life feels so far away.

like a tale that has been passed on and on.

but i know it's there.

it is Real.

there is a higher Place to go.

oh, i want that deep Delight to fill me.

to move me.

to envelop and shape me.

most of all, i want to spill that Life.

into my boys and my man and the people i'm linked to.

all over them so they can fly.

and so they can create their space in the world.

one that causes them to thirst for Life, too.

one that fills them so full that all they can do is spill over, too.

o Lord, Lord.
