Budapest, Hungary: Home away from home

One of my favorite things in life right now is traveling to Budapest, Hungary to sing in concerts and facilitate art workshops.

PBS Create!: Make it Artsy Episodes

In November 2016 I had the awesome opportunity to film with Julie Fei-Fan Balzeron the set of Make It Artsy! What an affirming experience. Thanks to all the folks at KS Productions and the artists in the green room for the wonderful day.

Online Affirmation

Voyage Chicago Magazine featured one of my paintings on June 1, 2018 in their "Chicago Arts & Culture Weekly Review" section! Coolness. Then they posted an interview on July 3, 2018. ❣

I'm so thankful to have had the opportunity to be a featured artist on Artsy Shark, one of the most jam packed online resources for artists and art lovers alike. Thank you, Carolyn!!  You can read my feature here [or download].

It was a huge boost for me as a fairly new artist to be one of the teachers in the first year (2012) of the wildly popular online class, Life Book, that is still going strong, and an even greater encouragement to be invited to contribute to Tam's new book in 2017! Order your copy here.

In  2011, I was invited to be part of this beautiful book by Carmen Torbus. You can find it here.

Artist Miriam Schulman interviewed me and fellow artist, Kelly Rae Roberts, as part of her June/July 2018 article for Professional Artist Magazine about the "imposter syndrome". Get your copy here.

2018 ended with a beautiful bit of affirmation from Cloth, Paper, Scissors Magazine and its readers.
